July 30 & 31 is the 15th annual MangoMania Tropical Fruit Festival. The star of this 2-day event is the locally-grown Pine Island mango. With crafts, recipe contests, FREE mango tasting tables, activities, games and rides for the kids what’s not to love at this awesome fruit fair. Plus don’t forget to meet the Mango Queen!

You’re opportunity is here to see real Spanish Treasure!

At Lover’s Key State Park, between Bonita Beach and Fort Myers Beach, this Friday, March 18th, interested folks will get a chance to learn about the famous Atocha Spanish Galleon found off the Florida coast and its incredible cache of sunken treasure. See actual treasure recovered from the wreck, don’t forget to bring your pirate patch!

Check out new and used boats and RVs at the Naples Boat Show in downtown Naples, Florida this weekend.  While leisurely perusing the water and land craft, don’t miss the variety of vendors, Kids Corner, live music and good food provided by Texas Tony’s BBQ Shack (Saturday and Sunday). Also, keep an eye out for Edgar Hansen from the TV show Deadliest Catch, who will be there to meet everyone and to sign autographs. A fun weekend for the family.

2010 Great Dock Canoe RaceThe 34th Annual Great Dock Canoe Race on Naples Bay is happening on May 8th. Canoeists of all skill levels join in the fun by paddling the 3-mile waterfront course. Come cheer on the participants and enjoy a great event for the community. Trolley service available every 15 minutes to and from designated parking areas.

Naples Winter Wine Festival 2010

If you love wine and fine food and find yourself in a charitable way, the Naples Winter Wine Festival is right around the corner. Celebrating it’s Tenth Anniversary January 29-31, 2010, the wine festival brings together some of the finest vintners and exceptional chefs in a 3 day wine and food auction to benefit the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF).

Although admission to the auction is on the high end, the auction is extremely successful—raising 11 million dollars for NCEF in 2009. Want to get involved? Consider volunteering and to be part of this exceptional foundation.
